Grass covers $12 million resort on Da Nang beach

Located on Truong Sa Street, Hoa Hai Ward (Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang), Pulchra Resort is a tourism project. This resort is located next to Tan Tra Beach. The project investor is P&I Enterprise Company (Japan).

The project has a total investment of 12 million USD (about 300 billion VND at present), started in 2008 and was put into operation in January 2013. The overall project is designed in Champa architectural style with the idea of bringing nature into a luxurious, high-class resort space.

According to Dan Tri reporters, there are currently no signs of welcoming guests, and a large area is covered with grass and trees. In the photo is a building in the center of the project, covered with grass and trees that have not been cleared.

The beachfront villa was in disrepair, the swimming pool in front had not been cleaned for a long time, stagnant water covered it with moss, grass grew everywhere, the villa's tiles were peeling and had not been repaired.

According to travel platforms, reviews of service quality at Pulchra Resort in Da Nang are only available until 2019. On the Google Maps application, this location is shown as "permanently closed".

The villas around the lake lie quietly, showing no signs of recent use. According to the advertisements, there used to be a large lake in front of the villas, but now there is only a bare lawn.

The resort still has security guards, but the entrances to the garden villas are covered with grass and dry coconut leaves, evidence that no one has been in or out of this area for a long time.

The inside of the villa was dusty and had not been cleaned for a long time, and the glass doors were graffitied.

Some of the lighting systems along the resort's paths are damaged and not repaired.

A leader of Hoa Hai ward (Ngu Hanh Son district) said that the ward only manages the State in the area and does not know about the business's operations. However, based on observation, this resort has not welcomed guests for a long time.

According to this leader, in principle, this resort is still operating. When it stops operating, the investor must notify the authorities in writing, and the ward has not received any notice about this.
