According to The Athletic , the UK Intellectual Property Office has approved Palmer's trademark application, which is accompanied by a clip of the player performing the celebration gesture.

Not only that. Palmer also trademarked his name "Cole Palmer", a face symbol, and a new logo "CP" with a crossed arms symbol next to the word "Cole".
