Tu Dua's eldest daughter officially debuted as a singer

The two songs "Insomnia", "That day that's sad" were written by musician Vu Khac Anh, the father of the hit "Rung dong - Duong Edwards", the remaining song is called "You're like that again" by musician Reyvin.

With the name of her debut product EP 06001706, Linh Nhi explained that it means her father brought her to this world. The female singer hopes that starting with a meaningful milestone will be a favorable condition for her to confidently step on the musical path in the future.

Linh Nhi has had a great passion for music since she was a child. At the age of 15, she began singing duets on the big stage with her father Mars Anh Tu. Determined to pursue a professional musical career, Linh Nhi was always serious and studied hard at the Vocal Department of the Military University of Culture and Arts.

After many years of training, under the guidance of teacher NSND Ha Thuy - the teacher who trained many stars such as: Ho Quynh Huong, Huong Tram, Van Mai Huong, Hoang Quyen, Minh Chuyen, Ngoc Khue... Linh Nhi has improved every day. Linh Nhi even received many compliments from her teacher. Besides her father, singer Lam Trang, teacher Ha Thuy is the one who always helps the female singer to be more confident to walk on the path of her music career.

Explaining why instead of choosing a heavily invested MV to debut like other young singers on the market, Linh Nhi chose to release an EP, she shared: “I think that releasing an MV product has its advantages, but it still depends on 'all or nothing', and the EP helps me measure whether the audience really likes the product and the music style I am pursuing or not.

Releasing an EP also helps me measure more accurately the audience's appeal to my product. This is also the trend of many Vietnamese singers in the past few years."

According to musician Khac Anh, he was surprised by Linh Nhi's voice. After receiving the recording, he immediately called the singer and praised her sweet, rich and emotional voice. The song was written by musician Khac Anh and musician Reyvin as if it was "tailor-made" for the voice of the Gen Z female singer.

“I have always loved the deep, gentle, emotional lyrics that Tu wrote. Since I was little, every time my father practiced the piano or wrote music, I paid close attention because I admired the way he wrote music and did art. Perhaps, I feel that I inherited a lot from my father. Especially the emotions about life and music. That's why I decided to pursue ballad music,” Linh Nhi explained why she chose to pursue ballad.

It is known that all 3 MVs in the EP were recorded in China, thanks to the process of working as an assistant for her father, she learned a lot of music production and release. Therefore, Linh Nhi "did everything herself" in the EP and received a lot of encouragement from her father.

Furthermore, she spent all the money she had saved over the years from selling tea and singing shows in the province to "go all in" on her debut EP.

After the fever, Mars Anh Tu looked at his daughter with warm eyes, he shared his pride in his eldest daughter. "Linh Nhi has always been a proactive and determined daughter in work and life."

Recalling the past, Tu Dua confided: "Before that decision of my daughter, I took my daughter to apply to the Conservatory of Music, where I used to study, to let her study to create a source of vocal music. A year later, maybe at that time her level was not good enough or maybe because I was "subjective", she failed the vocal exam that year to enter the school, to my surprise.

At that time, both my father and I were very sad, but Linh Nhi showed me that she was very determined. Instead of being sad, she cooked Khuc Bach sweet soup to sell during the summer to save money to study for the next year's exam. I love my daughter very much, but I am also very happy because of her determination.

After that, the father and son chose the Military University of Culture and Arts for their son to continue his studies and luckily the following year he was also admitted to the school.

Linh Nhi was born in 1999, she is the eldest daughter of singer Mars Anh Tu's 5 children. Currently, she has graduated from the Vocal Music Department of the Military University of Culture and Arts.
