The Public Security Police Force of An Giang province, responsible for administrative management of social order, began receiving applications and issuing citizen identification cards to people starting from the first day of Tet (Lunar New Year).
Maintaining the operation of receiving and processing administrative procedures during the Tet holiday contributes to ensuring the legitimate rights of citizens and businesses, while also limiting the backlog of applications after the extended holiday period.

Starting at 10:00 AM on the first day of Tet (Lunar New Year), provincial traffic police forces simultaneously launched a comprehensive inspection and enforcement campaign targeting violations related to alcohol levels throughout the province.
Simultaneously, in order to ensure traffic order and safety, and to curb and reduce traffic accidents during the Tet holiday, from 10:00 AM on February 17th (the first day of the Lunar New Year of the Horse), the functional forces of the An Giang Provincial Police simultaneously launched a comprehensive inspection and handling of violations related to alcohol levels throughout the province.
This intensive campaign is being implemented decisively and synchronously with the participation of functional forces, focusing on inspections on key traffic routes, densely populated areas, and locations where festivals and celebrations are held during Tet.
With the spirit of "no forbidden zones, no exceptions," the task force is determined to strictly handle all violations in accordance with the law.
Besides handling violations related to alcohol levels, law enforcement agencies are also focusing on addressing behaviors that directly lead to traffic accidents, such as driving under the influence of drugs, exceeding the speed limit, driving in the wrong lane or section of the road, and improper overtaking.
