Speaking with Tien Phong reporter , a representative of Bao Dai Commune Police ( Bac Ninh province) said that in the past 2 months, on average, each month Bao Dai Commune Police received 1 case of a family reporting that a child had left home without permission and could not be contacted. These cases were all junior high school students.

Through investigation, Bao Dai Commune Police found that the students who left home without permission had family circumstances such as their parents being divorced, living with grandparents or lacking family care. They left home to follow bad friends, and when their relatives contacted them, some of them turned off their phones and did not answer. Only after the police issued a missing person notice did they contact their relatives and family.

Parents should promptly notify the police when their children show signs of running away or losing contact.
