In the atmosphere of the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Tradition Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, on July 18, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen, Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police, and the Hanoi Police delegation organized the program "Returning to the source" at the Central Public Security Department relic site, Tan Trao commune, Tuyen Quang province.
In the sacred and solemn atmosphere at the Central Police Department - the place that preserves the spirit, spirit and glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Police force, the delegation of Hanoi City Police proudly reported and presented to Uncle Ho, the Party and the Police sector the achievements of the efforts, training and continuous fighting of the entire Capital Police force over the past time.

Attending the incense offering ceremony and reporting achievements with the working delegation were also Colonel Luc The Hung, Deputy Director of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police, along with leaders and representatives of Tan Trao commune government.
Deeply imbued with the teachings of beloved Uncle Ho: "Our police are the people's police, serving the people and relying on the people to work", all officers and soldiers of the Capital Police always determine that this is not only a motto for action, but also an order, a consistent ideological foundation in all policies, decisions and practical actions.
During the period when the country was transforming strongly to enter a new era, Hanoi City Police pioneered and innovated in all areas of work, achieving many outstanding results:
Effectively implement Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo on promoting the building of a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Public Security force; absolutely protect the safety of more than 700 important political and diplomatic events, thereby enhancing the position of the capital Hanoi - the city for peace .

On the front of protecting national security and fighting crime, the Hanoi Police force has successfully solved many major cases. In the field of administrative reform and digital transformation, the Hanoi Police is a pioneer in applying new technology, artificial intelligence, and big data to handle administrative procedures and in all aspects of work in accordance with the direction of the Ministry of Public Security.
Right after the Ceremony, Hanoi City Police presented meaningful gifts to policy families and people in difficult circumstances in Minh Thanh commune.
Next, the delegation attended the inauguration ceremony of a new house for Mr. Trieu Van Phuong in Tan Trao commune. Mr. Phuong's new house is one of 100 houses that Hanoi City Police supported Tuyen Quang Province Police to implement the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Ministry of Public Security.
Sharing joy with Mr. Phuong's family, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen, Deputy Director of Hanoi Police, said: Responding to the emulation movement "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Public Security, with the spirit of "Mutual love and affection", demonstrating the tradition of "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people", officers and soldiers of Hanoi City Police donated 27.5 billion VND to support the program "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" of the Ministry of Public Security.

At the same time, Hanoi City Police continued to call for the voluntary spirit of officers, soldiers, agencies and businesses to donate funds to support people in the northern mountainous provinces. In May 2025, Hanoi City Police organized a donation to Lai Chau Provincial Police, Ha Giang Provincial Police and Tuyen Quang Provincial Police each with 3 billion VND, with a total cost of 9 billion VND.
Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen affirmed: The joy and happiness of Mr. Trieu Van Khuong's family is also the joy and happiness of every officer and soldier of the Capital Police. The contributions of officers and soldiers of the Capital Police not only help Mr. Trieu Van Khuong's family and many other families have a decent, safe and stable place to eat and live, but also contribute to strengthening confidence, arousing the will to rise up in life, encouraging and motivating people to work and produce with peace of mind, contributing to building an increasingly prosperous homeland.
The work of eliminating hunger, reducing poverty, and caring for families in difficult circumstances and vulnerable people in society is a long-term process, requiring the participation of the entire political system and the joint efforts and contributions of the whole society. The Deputy Director of the City Police hopes that the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police and the Tan Trao Commune government will continue to pay attention to disadvantaged households and policy families in the area.
