Specifically, at 9:50 a.m. on June 8, 2023, the working group of the Economic and Drug Crime Investigation Police Team of Van Lang District Police on duty on National Highway A4, in Na Tinh hamlet, Hoang Viet commune, Van Lang district, discovered and caught Nong Van Hanh, born in 1994, residing in Dang Van hamlet, Thanh Long commune, Van Lang district, in the act of illegally buying and selling drugs, confiscating 9 plastic packages containing white powder, which Hung said was heroin.
Expanding the investigation, the district police urgently arrested Chu Chung Hung, born in 1989, residing in Na Tinh village, Hoang Viet commune, Van Lang district for illegal drug trafficking.
On the same day, Van Lang District Police coordinated with Tan Thanh Border Guard Station on duty in Zone 1, Tan Thanh Commune to discover and arrest Dinh Van Thanh, born in 1984, residing in Na Nguom Village, Tan Thanh Commune, for illegally storing drugs, seizing 30 paper packages containing white powder, which the subject declared to be heroin.
Currently, all three subjects are being detained by Van Lang District Police for further investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
