The tournament, held from January 15th to 17th, attracted approximately 200 athletes from Vietnam and abroad, including Italy, Germany, Poland, Egypt, Russia, the USA, and France. Athletes competed fiercely in two main categories: individual men's and women's speed competitions, and technical competitions featuring impressive high-altitude displays and skills. Alongside the professional competitions, a series of attractive activities were held, such as: free kitesurfing experiences with experts, cultural and culinary booths showcasing local OCOP products, a vibrant "Sea Energy" music night, tours exploring scenic spots in Southern Khanh Hoa, and especially the "My Hoa Beach Cleanup" activity aimed at environmental protection. The event brought together over 3,000 participants, including athletes and tourists from Vietnam and abroad, creating a lively atmosphere on the pristine blue coastline.
To ensure the safety and security of the entire event, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police proactively directed its professional departments to coordinate closely with the Vinh Hai Commune Police, the Vinh Hai Commune Border Guard Post, and the Vinh Hai Commune Military Command. These forces implemented a comprehensive set of operational measures, increasing patrols and controls to ensure security, traffic safety, and fire prevention and control. Public awareness campaigns were intensified, urging residents, tourists, and athletes to strictly adhere to the Organizing Committee's regulations, practice civilized behavior in public places, and remain vigilant against theft, robbery, or disturbances.
Throughout the three days of the event, security and order were absolutely ensured, with no unfortunate incidents occurring. The functional forces performed their duties excellently before, during, and after the event, making a significant contribution to the overall success of the competition. The event not only affirmed Khanh Hoa's position on the map of marine sports but also left a deep impression of a clean, beautiful, and safe marine area with friendly people. This was a valuable opportunity to promote the image of Khanh Hoa to the world and foster sustainable tourism linked to marine sports.
