On August 2, Colonel Tran Anh Son, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police, issued an order to conduct a general inspection of passenger transport vehicles and container freight vehicles; and deploy a plan to ensure traffic order and safety in the last months of 2023 throughout the province.

The provincial police leaders requested that the traffic police force in the whole province directly organize patrols, control and handle violations of passenger transport vehicles such as: school buses, workers; contract passenger vehicles, buses and tractor-trailers.
In particular, the authorities will focus on handling violations of alcohol and drug concentrations; speed; expired vehicle registration; expired inspection; oversize, overload; driving in the wrong lane; and carrying more people than permitted.

Along with that, the traffic police force of the whole province will coordinate with units under the Department of Transport and related units to organize inspections of safety conditions of works and traffic infrastructure.
At the same time, focus on assessing and surveying "black spots" and potential traffic accident spots that have recently occurred. From there, timely solutions will be found, contributing to ensuring traffic safety.

This is a general inspection campaign deployed by the Ministry of Public Security nationwide for 2.5 months from August 1 to October 15 and is divided into 2 phases.
In phase 1 (from August 1 to 14), the authorities will propagate and mobilize vehicle owners, business owners and drivers to comply with the law and sign a commitment to ensure traffic safety and order.
In phase 2 (from August 15 to October 15), traffic police forces will simultaneously coordinate patrols, control, and handle violations in the province.
