Go to every alley, knock on every door, check every person
On the evening of November 13, the community house of residential groups No. 2 and No. 3 (Yen Nghia Ward) was more crowded than usual when officers and soldiers of Yen Nghia Ward Police, Traffic Police Department and union members and youth came to guide and support people in checking and updating vehicle registration data and driver's licenses.
Thinking that the procedure would take time, even though it was not time yet, Ms. Ngo Thi Luyen (resident group 2, Yen Nghia ward) went to the community center to update her vehicle registration and driver's license data. "With the guidance of the ward police and traffic police, I was able to update my data in just 5 minutes. The process was very quick, I just had to show my identification documents, the police officers were very friendly and enthusiastic in their guidance," said Ms. Ngo Thi Luyen.
Surprised when receiving officers and soldiers from Yen Nghia Ward Police and the Traffic Police Department coming to his house to check and update vehicle registration data and driver's license, Mr. Dang Nhu Phu (resident group 3, Yen Nghia Ward) said that because he was busy with business, he could not leave his house. "After being guided by the police officers, I found the steps to update data quick, convenient and easy to do," said Mr. Phu.

Ms. Le Thi Hong Lien (resident group 3, Yen Nghia ward) said that previously, people had to go directly to the police or the commune-level People's Committee to carry out administrative procedures. "However, with the update of vehicle registration and driver's license data, the authorities have come to your home to guide you through the procedures, which is very convenient, especially for those who work and do not have time to go directly to the agencies like us," Ms. Lien said.
Captain Nguyen The Hoang, an officer of the Regional Police Team (Yen Nghia Ward Police) said that after being informed, disseminated, and instructed by the authorities to clean up vehicle registration data and driver's licenses, the local people basically responded enthusiastically.
“Many people were present at the community house before the functional forces gave instructions. In addition, officers and soldiers of the ward police, along with the security and order forces at the grassroots level, and the residential groups went to each resident's house to propagate and guide them on cleaning vehicle registration data and driver's licenses on the iHanoi application,” Captain Nguyen The Hoang shared.

Strengthening propaganda for data cleaning peak
Also on the evening of November 13, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hieu (cluster 1, Tay Ho ward) said that Tay Ho ward police came to his house to guide his family to declare data. Therefore, in just a few minutes, Mr. Hieu completed cleaning the data on the iHanoi application.
Sharing more about the implementation, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Quang, Deputy Head of Tay Ho Ward Police, said that the unit assigned officers to each residential area and household to guide people, especially the elderly or those who are not familiar with using smartphones, to ensure that 100% of people can clean their data themselves.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Duyen, an officer of the Road Motor Vehicle Registration and Management Team (Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police) said that the Traffic Police Department has established 25 working groups to go to each ward, commune, and residential area to guide people in cleaning vehicle registration data and driver's licenses, creating the most favorable conditions for people to carry out procedures quickly.
Sharing about the difficulties in the process of guiding and supporting people, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Duyen said that some elderly people still have difficulties in the process of operating on the iHanoi application. From that reality, the working group has advised the People's Committees and Police of wards and communes to increase propaganda about the features and utilities of the iHanoi application so that people can proactively carry out data update procedures themselves; for cases of lonely elderly people and families in difficult circumstances, the functional forces will come to the house to support the implementation.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Me, Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department (Hanoi City Police) said that reviewing and cleaning vehicle registration and driver's license data creates convenience for people, especially for vehicles that have not been transferred or changed ownership. People who declare on the iHanoi application are guaranteed absolute confidentiality of personal information.
In addition, implementing the direction of the Ministry of Public Security and the Hanoi People's Committee, to effectively implement the data cleaning plan, the Hanoi Police have promoted propaganda work in many diverse forms. Units coordinated with news agencies and newspapers to post video clips and infographics to help people understand the benefits and implementation process on the iHanoi application.
In addition, at large shopping centers in the capital, instructional videos are shown on large LED screen systems, helping people easily access and grasp how to perform data cleaning.
As of 5:00 p.m. on November 13, Hanoi City Police recorded 32,417 data submitted by citizens to the system, including 17,993 driver's license data and 14,424 vehicle data.
