Phong Nha commune police assist foreign tourists involved in an accident during the night.

QTO - Upon discovering a foreign tourist involved in a traffic accident at night, the Phong Nha commune police in Quang Tri province assisted the victim in receiving medical treatment and ensured the safety of the tourist's belongings.

Specifically, at around 7 PM on February 13th, upon receiving information that a group of foreign tourists had fallen off their motorbike while traveling on Road 20 Quyet Thang, the Phong Nha Commune Police quickly arrived at the scene and identified the victim as Nikola Gerseau (born in 1997, Belgian nationality).

Upon realizing the tourist was seriously injured, possibly with a broken leg, the commune police force coordinated with staff from the Phuc Trach commune health station to provide initial first aid, splint the wound, and then assist the victim in being transported to the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital in Dong Hoi for emergency treatment.

Grateful for the thoughtfulness, friendliness, and timely assistance of the police force, on February 14th, the group of tourists wrote a thank-you letter to the Phong Nha Commune Police.
