The police in Trang Bom commune (Dong Nai province) conducted a comprehensive review and inspection of residency records to maintain security and order in the area.

In accordance with the Provincial Police's plan for a comprehensive review and inspection of residency to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in security and order, and to proactively prevent and combat all types of crimes and violations of the law, on January 16, 2026, the Trang Bom Commune Police launched a high-intensity campaign for a comprehensive review and inspection of residency throughout the commune.

This is a key task, of crucial importance in accurately understanding the population situation, strictly managing the population, and promptly detecting and preventing potential complex security and order issues at the grassroots level. In the context of Trang Bom commune's rapid urbanization and the increasing number of people from other localities coming to live and work there, residential management is identified as a fundamental solution to maintaining social security and order.

On the very first day of the campaign, the Commune Police organized a meeting to thoroughly explain the purpose, requirements, and content of the comprehensive residence check-up to all officers and soldiers in the unit.

At the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Anh Dung – Head of the Trang Bom Commune Police – emphasized the requirement for each officer and soldier to uphold a high sense of responsibility and perform their duties with the highest political determination; to stay close to the local area and the people, and to conduct inspections according to the motto "going to every alley, knocking on every door, checking every resident." At the same time, the Head of the Commune Police requested that inspections be carried out in accordance with the law and work procedures, closely combining administrative management with propaganda and mobilization of people to strictly comply with the law on residence.

The inspection process will be comprehensive and rigorous, aiming to promptly detect cases of individuals who have not registered their permanent residence, temporary residence, or temporary absence, or declared their stay as required; simultaneously, updating, supplementing, and cleaning up population data to ensure accurate and complete citizen information, effectively serving the state management of security and order.

In addition to inspection activities, the Trang Bom Commune Police are stepping up efforts to disseminate legal information on residency to every household. Officers and soldiers directly guide residents in carrying out residency registration procedures according to the new regulations; clearly explaining the rights, obligations, and legal responsibilities of citizens in complying with residency laws.
