Police request Aqua City project documents: What does Novaland say?

On the evening of May 7th, Novaland Investment Joint Stock Company ( Novaland , stock code: NVL) issued an official response regarding the Ho Chi Minh City Police's request for the Dong Nai Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment to provide documents related to the Aqua City urban area in Dong Nai.

Specifically, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency requested the Dong Nai Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment to provide information related to land allocation, origin, planning, financial obligations, and other documents related to the subsidiary companies implementing the Aqua City urban area project.

Explaining this request, Novaland stated that in the context of the difficult market conditions over the past two years, with the understanding and support of most customers, the community, investors, partners, and above all, the direction of the Party and the close guidance of the Government and the Government's Task Force, the difficulties faced by real estate businesses in general, and Novaland Group and its affiliated companies in particular, have been gradually resolved.

For project clusters developed by Novaland (such as the Aqua City project in Dong Nai province), including NovaWorld Phan Thiet in Binh Thuan province, NovaWorld Ho Tram in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, and projects in Ho Chi Minh City, construction is resuming and they are on the priority list for legal clearance by ministries, agencies, and local authorities where the projects are located.

"However, Novaland understands that under prolonged financial pressure, a small number of customers lack the patience to continue with us and have chosen not to resolve disputes through civil litigation at the court or arbitration, but instead have submitted complaints to relevant authorities, including the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency. Therefore, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency has been and is currently verifying information according to legal procedures to provide an official response to customers."

"In addition to the relevant authorities, we have also received requests to verify information and provide project documents. We are actively cooperating with the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency to clarify the matter," Novaland's document stated.
