Announcing 30 centers qualified for driving test

On July 9, a representative of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) said that the Department has just announced a list of 30 type 1 and 2 driving test centers that have been licensed under Decree 160/2024.

Accordingly, all 30 centers are tested for license categories such as A1, A, B automatic, B mechanical, C1. Some are also tested for D2, D, CE...

Class 1 and 2 driving test centers are classified according to regulations on facilities and scope of driving license testing. Class 1 centers have large areas, meeting the requirements for testing and issuing driving licenses for more categories, including trucks and passenger cars.

Type 2 driving test center has a smaller area, meeting the requirements for testing and issuing driving licenses for popular vehicle classes such as motorbikes, cars and light trucks.

From March 1, traffic police nationwide began taking over the tasks of organizing driving tests, issuing driving licenses; changing and re-issuing driving licenses; issuing international driving licenses... from the transport sector.

In Hanoi , the Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police also announced the schedule for organizing driving tests and issuing driving licenses from July 7 to July 13.

Previously, on June 24, Hung Vuong VocationalEducation and Driving Test Training Center - Hanoi City Police organized the first driving test to issue car driving licenses to candidates who had been trained and granted qualified certificates.

Thereby, from June 24 to 30, the unit organized 12 driving license examinations (10 car examinations, 2 motorcycle examinations).

Of which, the total number of registration files is 2,061, the total number of candidates taking the exam is 1,278 people (952 cars, 326 motorbikes). The number of candidates who meet the requirements and are granted driving licenses is 568 people (324 cars, 244 motorbikes), reaching a rate of 44.4%.
