The Pleiku Roh village artisans (Dien Hong ward) brought many special performances such as gong performances with the songs: Greetings of solidarity, Celebrating victory, Celebrating new rice; traditional musical instrument ensembles: Warm and prosperous village, Chu Pah victory; folk songs: Picking bitter eggplant, Lullaby, Going to school; and impressive stilt performance.
The program attracted a large number of people and tourists, and received 1.3 million VND in support for the artisans.
"Weekend Gong - Enjoy and experience" is an activity to preserve, promote and advertise the gong cultural values of ethnic minorities in Gia Lai province.
The program uses capital from Project 6 under the National Target Program on Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas by 2025. After a period of suspension, the program resumes operations to create a highlight to attract tourists.
The event takes place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. every Friday and Saturday evening at Dai Doan Ket Square, lasting until the end of December 2025.
In addition to the gong team of Pleiku Roh village, the program will have the participation of artisans from the villages: Nghe Lon (Kong Chro commune), Piơm (Dak Đoa commune), Kon So Lăl (Ia Khuơl commune) and Pyang (Kong Chro commune). The artisans will be supported with training, performance, travel, food, costumes, jewelry and props.
