This is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), and at the same time respond to a series of events towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
The event was attended by Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of Hanoi City Police; representatives of the Hanoi Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports , and a large number of officers and soldiers of the Capital Police... The choice of the theatrical form to convey the image of the police officer brought strong emotions, creating a special impression on the public of the Capital.
The play “Confrontation” is a work of art that truly reflects the uncompromising struggle of the police officers against evil and ugliness in modern society. Through it, the play spreads the message of courage, sacrifice and responsibility for the community and for the peace of the Fatherland.
Not only a touching love story, “Facing” is a multi-dimensional picture of the inner self, dignity and will to live of the police officers – real people who are silently fighting day and night for a peaceful life. Through everyday life, the play conveys in a simple but profound way the message of courage, sacrifice and the silent but no less fierce struggles of the police force in the context of modern society.
The choice of “Confrontation” to perform on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the People’s Public Security Forces’ Traditional Day is not only because of the artistic quality of the play, but also because of the profound political message and social value that the work brings. This is an opportunity to honor the image of the People’s Public Security Forces – a force that has played and continues to play a pivotal role in the cause of protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, and for the peaceful life of the people.
With its profound content value, the play was honored to receive the Silver Medal at the 5th National Theater Festival on "Image of the People's Public Security Soldier", organized by the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Theater Artists Association.
