Dong Nai Trade Union supports 12 worker couples to organize civilized and economical weddings

The subjects participating in the wedding ceremony are couples in which one or both members are union members, workers working at enterprises, agencies, and units with union organizations; have registered for marriage but do not have the conditions to hold a wedding ceremony, including cases where they already have children.

On December 7, the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) to organize a 2025 collective wedding ring awarding ceremony for 12 couples of workers in difficult circumstances in the province.

This is the opening activity for the mass wedding ceremony scheduled to take place on December 14, which is built in a civilized, solemn and economical direction, suitable for the conditions of union members and workers.

According to the plan, the participants are couples in which one or both are union members, workers working at enterprises, agencies, and units with trade unions; have registered their marriage but have not yet had the conditions to hold a wedding ceremony, including cases where they already have children. This year, the program continues to target the group of workers who have been together for many years, taking care of their families together but still have financial difficulties and cannot have a proper wedding.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation and PNJ presented 12 pairs of wedding rings as a symbol of love and lasting bond. This gift not only has material value but also a blessing for those who are overcoming challenges every day to build family happiness.

In addition to wedding rings, couples are also supported with wedding photography, given a large photo 60cm x 90cm, wedding attire, wedding flowers, videography, makeup and two banquet tables for relatives and friends. The organizing committee also prepares all the facilities for the mass wedding ceremony.

Within the framework of the program, couples participated in the talk show “Civilized and economical wedding”, sharing experiences to help organize a meaningful but inexpensive wedding. This is considered as a luggage for them to confidently enter the stage of building a stable, happy family that is suitable to their abilities.

The Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor said that the 2025 collective wedding continues to demonstrate the union's support in caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers, while also contributing to spreading the message of happy families and civilized lifestyles. Previously, in 2024, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor also organized a collective wedding for 9 couples of workers in difficult circumstances at enterprises in the area.
