Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Trade Union promotes innovation and cares for workers

KHANH HOA Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Trade Union continues to innovate its activities, improve the effectiveness of caring for and protecting the rights of workers, and accompany them in building a sustainable enterprise.

On December 9 in Khanh Hoa , Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest State-owned Company Limited held the 13th Congress of the Grassroots Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030 with the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development". Attending were representatives of the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation and 200 official delegates, representing 3,799 union members of the entire Company.

Workers' support

In the context of economic fluctuations and the impact of climate change, the Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company's Trade Union has closely coordinated with the Company's Board of Directors, uniting employees to achieve impressive achievements. In the 2023 - 2025 term, the company's total consolidated revenue reached 7,643.2 billion VND, paid to the budget more than 692 billion VND, and the average income of employees in 2025 increased to 16 million VND/person/month.

During the period 2023 - 2025, the Company will continuously innovate, launching many high-quality products, especially the Sanest Bird's Nest mask in cooperation with Sallycos (Korea). Many state-level and provincial-level scientific topics have been accepted, along with 190 recognized initiatives that have improved productivity, quality and saved hundreds of millions of VND. Thereby contributing to affirming the national brand of Khanh Hoa Bird's Nest.

Accompanying the entire process, the grassroots Trade Union has closely coordinated with the Company's leadership to strongly launch emulation movements: "Good workers, creative workers", scientific research, technical innovation, etc.

With the motto "Towards the grassroots - Workers are valuable assets", the Company's Trade Union always closely accompanies the Board of Directors in building and implementing policies to ensure harmony of interests between the enterprise and workers.

Thanks to this effective coordination, up to now 100% of employees have signed full contracts, enjoyed allowances, labor protection equipment and regular health check-ups. In particular, the Company has proactively increased the social insurance contribution rate higher than the regulation, helping employees improve their pension regime in the long term. All affiliated units have signed collective labor agreements, in which many provisions are more beneficial to employees, especially in the shareholding sector. This demonstrates the role of the Trade Union not only as a representative to protect rights, but also as an important contributor to the sustainable development of the enterprise.

Every Tet holiday, the Union coordinates with the authorities at all levels and the Unions of the departments to implement many practical care programs such as the Union Tet Market, Tet Sum Vay, Union Meals... During the last term, every year the Union and the Company have given 4,000 - 5,000 gifts to employees and children of staff on holidays, Tet, and the new school year. Those gifts not only have material value but also share, the spirit of "accompanying the workers" has become a traditional beauty of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest.

Not only taking care of material life, the Union also focuses on improving spiritual life. Cultural and sports activities organized on major holidays such as March 8, October 20, July 27, December 22... have become familiar playgrounds, helping cadres and employees connect and regenerate energy. In addition, volunteer movements, gratitude, building houses of gratitude, "Union Shelters", supporting policy families are regularly deployed, spreading the spirit of community responsibility and creating a beautiful cultural mark of the enterprise.

In the period of 2023 - 2025 alone, the Company's Trade Union has accompanied many social funds with more than 35 billion VND, clearly demonstrating the tradition of "helping each other" and the culture of sharing of Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest.

With these results, Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest and its member units have been honored for many consecutive years as typical enterprises for employees, top 10 best workplaces in Vietnam; received a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs as "Unit that well implements labor laws, cares for the life, material and spiritual life of employees" and many other prestigious domestic and international awards.

Promoting the power of unions

In the new term, the Union aims to take comprehensive care of union members and workers, ensure their legitimate rights, improve their material and spiritual life, and build a stable, safe and humane working environment. The Union will strengthen propaganda, foster political and legal training, and professional skills; widely launch the movement "Good workers, Creative workers", encourage scientific research and technical innovation associated with the Company's production and business tasks.

During the term, we strive to achieve many outstanding targets such as: 100% of the Departmental Unions are strong; each year, over 85% of union members achieve the title of excellent worker, 15-20% achieve the title of emulation fighter; all female union members achieve the title of "Good at public work, good at housework". The Union also sets a goal of introducing 100-150 outstanding union members to the Party, contributing to building the Company's Party Committee increasingly strong.

At the same time, 100% of employees will sign full contracts and enjoy benefits according to regulations; continue to maintain security on sea and island routes and preserve swiftlet flocks and natural bird nest resources. The Union promotes digital transformation, improves productivity and product quality, implements provincial and state-level research projects, and at least 100 new initiatives. In addition, social and charitable activities continue to be spread, including the "Union Shelter" program and the goal of working with the Company to build 50 solidarity houses to support poor households.

With a spirit of democracy and high responsibility, the congress elected the Executive Committee of the Company's Grassroots Trade Union for the 13th term, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 15 comrades. Of which, Mr. Bui Tran Thai, Head of the Company's Technical Department, was elected as the Chairman of the Trade Union; the Vice Chairmen include Ms. Tran Thi Thu Thuy and Mr. Tran Tan Dung.

On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company commended 6 collectives and 25 individuals for their outstanding achievements in trade union work in the period 2023 - 2025.
