The Vietnamese community in Malaysia is confident in a new path of development.

Vietnamese expatriates and students in Malaysia are delighted with the success of the 14th National Congress, expressing their confidence in the country's development direction and their desire to cooperate and contribute in the new phase.

Following the successful conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam , Vietnamese expatriates and students in Malaysia expressed their joy and confidence that the country will continue to move steadily forward on the path of development in the new era, while affirming their desire to contribute to this important journey.

According to the Vietnam News Agency correspondent in Kuala Lumpur, Tran Thi Chang, President of the Malaysia-Vietnam Friendship Association (MVFA), said that the Vietnamese community in Malaysia followed the 14th Congress with mixed feelings and felt reassured witnessing a congress that was organized in a systematic, serious, and responsible manner.

The success of the Congress further strengthens the people's confidence, including the Vietnamese community abroad, in the firm leadership and clear direction of the Party and State, as well as the prospects for the country's future development.

Ms. Tran Thi Chang emphasized that the important decisions adopted by the 14th National Congress are not only significant for Vietnam's development but also lay the foundation for strengthening international integration and cooperation.

The Malaysia-Vietnam Friendship Association will continue to play its role as a bridge between the people of the two countries, promoting exchanges, understanding, and effective cooperation in many fields. She expressed confidence that the Communist Party of Vietnam, led by General Secretary To Lam – a capable, decisive, and highly responsible leader – will continue to lead the country to strong and sustainable development, realize the goals by 2045, and enhance Vietnam's position in the international arena.

Master's student Ta Thi Hong Ngan (Spectrum International University, Selangor) assessed that the information and communication work of the 14th National Congress met the widespread interest both domestically and internationally.

The process of soliciting input from overseas Vietnamese during the preparation for the Congress is considered a step forward in terms of transparency and accountability towards overseas Vietnamese.

According to her, the clear vision and development strategy set forth by the 14th National Congress have strengthened the confidence of the people and the younger generation, while demonstrating continuity, stability, and innovation in personnel work, in line with the development requirements of the new period.

Ms. Ta Thi Hong Ngan expressed her confidence that the personnel selected by the Congress will continue to play a leading role in the country, making sound decisions in the context of Vietnam's increasingly deep integration into the international community; and hoped that the leaders would pay more attention to education , human resource development, and create conditions for young people to contribute to the overall development of the country.

Meanwhile, Master's student Pham Tran Tieu My (University of Northern Malaysia - UUM, Kuala Lumpur campus) believes that the preparations for the 14th National Congress were thorough and comprehensive, making a significant contribution to the success of the event.

The Congress clearly identified key issues in the era of national development, while also adding many new contents on foreign affairs, international integration, economic development linked to environmental protection, promoting science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, and affirming the role of the private economy.

According to her, the 14th National Congress's focus on human resource development, educational reform, and international integration opens up many opportunities for the younger generation, including Vietnamese students abroad, to contribute their knowledge and experience to the country's development.

The interest and expectations of people both at home and abroad regarding the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam further strengthen confidence in Vietnam's political stability and sustainable development in the coming period.
