Accordingly, 7 professions were recognized and granted Traditional Profession Recognition Certificates including: Phuoc Cong blacksmithing (village 2, Phuoc Cong commune, Phuoc Son district); Tam Ngoc rice paper craft (Tho Tan village, Tam Ngoc commune, Tam Ky city); Hoi An has 5 professions: Hoi An lanterns (Cam Pho ward); tailoring (Cam Pho ward); Cao Lau craft (Cam Chau ward); Cam Nam sticky corn craft (Cam Nam ward); Kim Bong sedge mat craft (Cam Kim commune).
The support amount is implemented according to the provisions of Article 6, Resolution No. 38/2022/NQ-HDND dated December 9, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council on regulations on mechanisms and policies to support the development of rural occupations and craft villages in Quang Nam province for the period 2023 - 2025. Specifically, the organization of the ceremony to receive the Certificate of Recognition and the construction of a welcome gate or billboard promoting traditional craft products will be supported with 45 million VND/occupation.
Up to now, the province has 17 traditional occupations, 8 craft villages and 20 traditional craft villages recognized. In recent times, Quang Nam has had many mechanisms and policies to find solutions to honor and preserve traditional occupations and craft villages.
