At the end of November 2025, the atmosphere at the 2026 military service health examination points in the province was exciting, urgent, and serious.

At Phu Cat Medical Center, the organization of medical examination for youth of 4 new communes in the old Phu Cat district is carried out methodically and closely.
From the reception stage, checking records to specialized examinations of vision, blood pressure, cardiovascular, dental - maxillofacial, ear - nose - throat, eyes, internal medicine - surgery, dermatology... all are carried out according to a unified "one-way" process, ensuring strictness and compliance with standards and regulations.

With the characteristic of being a locality with many young men of military age working far away, the Cat Tien Commune Military Service Council has directed sectors and organizations to propagate and mobilize families to promptly notify young men to participate in the medical examination.
Mr. Vo Van Trinh - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, Chairman of the Military Service Council of Cat Tien Commune - said: "Although most of the local youth work far away and are studying at universities and colleges, in the recent health check-up, 198/198 youths went for a check-up (100%), with 63 youths being healthy. This is a favorable condition for the locality to carry out the next steps in the military recruitment process as well as ensure that the military service reaches 100% of the target."

In Tay Son commune, the examination area is located at the old district Military Command, creating convenience in organizing examinations as well as managing patients during the examination process.
According to Mr. Dang Ba Duy - Commander of Tay Son Commune Military Command, the examination area was scientifically arranged by the An Nhon Dong Area 6 Defense Command and the Examination Council, with each table and specialized examination room clearly marked, with specific instructions. The police and militia forces were on duty to regulate and guide the inmates to enter the examination in order, avoiding jostling and errors in records.
"In Tay Son commune alone, 237 youths went to the medical examination station, reaching 100% of the total number of youths who received medical examination orders. Of these, 72 youths were healthy enough to join the army, and 18 youths wrote applications to volunteer to join the army. This is a very positive result," Mr. Duy informed.

Thanks to the good propaganda work, 11 young men in Chu Pah commune have written applications to volunteer for military service. Happy to have passed the examination, young man Duong Tan Dinh Thinh (18 years old, village 3, Chu Pah commune) shared: "When I held the pen to write the application to volunteer for military service, my heart was full of pride and determination. I clearly felt the responsibility of a young man towards the Fatherland and the desire to train myself and devote myself to the cause of protecting the country".
According to statistics from the Military Department (Provincial Military Command), by the end of November 24, 78/135 communes and wards in the province had organized medical examinations. Of these, 12,357 youths went to the medical examination station, reaching 82.3% of the number of youths examined; 4,992 youths were healthy, accounting for 40.3% of the number of youths going to the medical examination station.
In particular, many communes and wards have a rate of 100% of the total number of examined children going to the medical station, such as: Nhon Chau, An Nhon, An Nhon Dong, An Nhon Bac, Tay Son, Tuy Phuoc Tay, Ngo May, Ayun, To Tung, Dien Hong, Gao, Dak Doa...
Director of the Department of Health Le Quang Hung informed: The Department of Health and the Provincial Military Command have established an inspection and supervision team on the examination and recruitment of military servicemen and People's Public Security at the examination and recruitment councils of the province. After the inspection, the team promptly reminded and corrected shortcomings and problems to improve the examination and recruitment, ensuring the quality of enlisted youth as well as the military recruitment quota.

According to Colonel Nguyen The Vinh - Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Military Service Council, in the context of implementing the two-level local government model, the management, direction and coordination of military recruitment work have many new points.
As a standing agency, the Provincial Military Command has proactively disseminated, guided, and provided professional training, helping localities, especially the Commune Military Command, to grasp the process and promote the role of the standing agency of the Commune Military Service Council to promptly advise on handling issues arising at the grassroots level.

At the same time, the Provincial Military Command has also proactively increased the number of officers from the Regional Defense Commands to the grassroots level, directly coordinating and providing professional guidance, helping the Military Commands of communes and wards to unify the process, forms, time and content of each step in military recruitment, ensuring strictness, compliance with regulations, and no overlap.
"In general, up to now, the military recruitment work is being implemented proactively, methodically, and in accordance with procedures, demonstrating the great efforts and determination of the entire political system in the province.
The Provincial Military Command will continue to promote its role as a standing agency, closely following the direction of Military Region 5, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Military Service Council, closely coordinating with local Party committees and authorities to "recruit enough, deliver well-rounded, high-quality soldiers", contributing to the excellent completion of the military recruitment task in 2026" - Colonel Nguyen The Vinh added.
