Western Bus Station Joint Stock Company (stock code WCS - HNX) has just announced that on December 16, it will close the list of shareholders to pay 2024 cash dividends at a rate of 166.66%, equivalent to a shareholder owning one share will receive 16,666 VND. WCS shares are currently priced at 300,000 VND and are the stock code with the highest market price on the HNX. At the same time, WCS shares are also in the Top 5 stocks with the highest prices on the Vietnamese stock exchange.

Currently, the Western Bus Station Company has 3 million shares in circulation, and the Western Bus Station will spend about 50 billion VND to pay dividends to shareholders. The expected payment date is December 25. Previously, at the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, the company approved a plan to pay 2024 dividends in cash at a rate of up to 200% and issue bonus shares at a ratio of 5:1. This is a "huge" dividend rate on the market and is higher than that of this company compared to previous years.

Recently, the company's Board of Directors published a document to solicit shareholders' opinions on the addition of a number of new business lines. The focus of this plan is to participate in the electric vehicle market with key activities such as investment, business and installation of charging stations, along with related support services. According to the city's plan, SAMCO - the parent company holding 51% of WCS's capital - is assigned to deploy charging stations at major traffic hubs, including Mien Tay Bus Station. This brings a direct advantage to WCS when it has available space and is part of the overall plan.

The financial report for the first 9 months of 2025 announced that Mien Tay Bus Station recorded revenue of 129.6 billion VND, profit after tax of nearly 64.9 billion VND, both increased by more than 8.5% over the same period last year. In terms of financial resources, by the end of the third quarter of 2025, the company had a total amount of cash and short-term financial investments of 322.77 billion VND, accounting for 86% of total assets. In addition, WCS did not record any financial debt.
