In the exciting atmosphere towards the 50th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2025), Lao - Viet International Port Joint Stock Company launched a special emulation movement "60 days and nights - reaching the finish line".
Accordingly, starting from November 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025, the movement "60 days and nights - reaching the finish line" will be widely deployed by Lao - Viet International Port Joint Stock Company with the goal of creating momentum to exceed the targets and tasks of 2025. The movement is not only of pure economic significance but also a practical action, a close-knit sentiment of the collective of workers of Lao - Viet International Port Joint Stock Company towards the important event of the friendly country of Laos.

The company's Emulation Steering Committee has developed a specific action program with strict emulation criteria, focusing on core indicators: output, revenue, profit, employee income, technical innovation initiatives, cost savings, occupational safety and hygiene, and environmental protection.
Mr. Le Van Bao - The Chairman of the Lao-Viet International Port Joint Stock Company's Trade Union said: "The movement is implemented with the spirit of "determination, enthusiasm, and not afraid of difficulties". The major contents that were focused on include: promoting the effective exploitation of Terminal 3 - Vung Ang Port; completing the increase of the ownership ratio of the Lao Government from 20% to 60% of charter capital; innovating management work, arranging reasonable labor; enhancing labor safety, preventing fires and natural disasters; promoting fuel and cost saving movements.
In particular, the emulation work is also associated with propaganda activities, hanging banners and slogans towards the 50th anniversary of Laos National Day, thereby spreading the solidarity and special traditional friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
Being present at the 3 wharf area, we clearly felt the urgent and serious working atmosphere. Mr. Nguyen Van Thin - Head of the 4th loading team shared: “All of us workers clearly understand the meaning of this emulation campaign. Everyone is excited and trying their best, both to complete their business tasks and to share the joy with the Lao people on this big holiday. Measures to ensure labor safety are also maximized…”.

At the departments of the company's Unloading Enterprise, the spirit of competition is also clearly demonstrated. Ms. Vo Thi Hang, a warehouse employee, shared: "Work at the warehouse these days is very stressful but also full of excitement. The amount of goods passing through the warehouse has increased dramatically, we have to arrange, classify and manage scientifically to ensure there are no errors, the goods are circulated as quickly as possible. Each shipment entering and leaving the warehouse safely and on schedule is our joy, contributing to the overall achievements of the whole company...".
To encourage in time, at the end of the year, the company will consider rewarding 3-5 groups, teams, and units with outstanding achievements. In addition, there is a hot and sudden bonus system for groups and individuals with high achievements and technical innovation initiatives that bring practical results. Departments are also required to pay attention to rewarding individuals who are direct workers with outstanding achievements.
