In recent days, the incident in which a media company decided to discipline a female intern and posted the decision on social media has caused a lot of controversy.
Accordingly, on November 26, on the Fanpage of the media and advertising company V., a disciplinary decision was publicly posted against a female student who was a content intern (writing advertising articles) at the company, signed by the company's director.

The company posted the decision to discipline the student online, causing outrage (Screenshot).
Regarding the female student's violation, the above decision stated: "Having challenging words and inappropriate attitude towards superiors, violating the company's regulations on conduct and communication."
Disciplinary action is not recognizing the internship at the company; revoking the internship confirmation stamp.
This decision also requested Van Lang University, Faculty of Public Relations and Communication (where the female student is studying) to review and take measures to remind the student.
The place where this disciplinary decision was received, in addition to the Department of Public Relations and Communication, Van Lang University, also clearly stated posting Fanpage and TikTok on the company's media channel.
When posting the disciplinary decision, the company did not cover the name of the female student being disciplined. Many people pointed out that the initial post about the disciplinary decision for the student was also used by the company to increase interaction on social networks.
The incident has sparked much controversy. The extent of the student’s violation has not been discussed, but many people have expressed their indignation at the company’s handling of the matter.
Many opinions say that the decision to discipline an employee is an internal matter. But here, the company "banned" an intern by publicly announcing the name and place of study of the violator and posting it on the company's Fanpage and TikTok channels. Some opinions also say that the company acted in a way that shamed and suppressed an individual.
Immediately after that, many people went to the company's Fanpage to express their anger and protest against this behavior.
Exchanging initial information with Dan Tri reporter about the incident, representative of the Faculty of Public Relations, Van Lang University said that they had received the above decision from V company.
Initially, the faculty contacted the company and asked not to post students' personal information because this could affect the students' future.
According to the school representative, students who behave inappropriately need to be reminded, supported and disciplined, but a decision to discipline a staff member is an internal matter of the company. The company posting it online and advertising interactions is not good, not appropriate in both sentiment and reason, affecting the life of the student and the entire student community.
As for how to handle the students, this representative said it is necessary to consider the specific incident, currently the school only has initial information.
