An Khe-Ka Nak Hydropower Company donated more than 500 million VND to overcome damage caused by storms and floods.

(GLO)- A working delegation of An Khe-Ka Nak Hydropower Company recently visited, encouraged, gave gifts and supported more than 500 million VND to Cuu An, Kbang, Kong Chro, Ia Pa communes and An Khe ward.

From the night of November 6 to the morning of November 7, storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi) made landfall in Gia Lai province, causing serious damage. Hundreds of houses collapsed and had their roofs blown off; thousands of hectares of crops and livestock were swept away; many power and traffic infrastructures were severely damaged. People's lives were disrupted, many households fell into poverty.

In order to share the difficulties with people affected by storm No. 13, recently, a working delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Minh Khu - Director of An Khe - Ka Nak Hydropower Company visited, encouraged, gave gifts and supported more than 500 million VND in cash to the communes: Cuu An, Kbang, Kong Chro, Ia Pa and An Khe ward (more than 100 million VND/commune, ward).

In addition, the EVNGENCO2/An Khe-Ka Nak Youth Union supported two families in particularly difficult circumstances in Cuu An and Ia Pa communes, each with VND 15 million in cash and some necessities.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Khu expressed: “We hope to join hands with the local government and people to overcome this difficult period. The gift is not large, but it is the heart of the Company's staff and workers. We wish people to soon stabilize their lives and restore production after the storm.”
