An Khe-Ka Nak Hydropower Company donated more than 500 million VND to overcome damage caused by storms and floods.

(GLO)- A working delegation of An Khe-Ka Nak Hydropower Company recently visited, encouraged, gave gifts and supported more than 500 million VND to Cuu An, Kbang, Kong Chro, Ia Pa communes and An Khe ward.

From the night of November 6th to the morning of November 7th, Typhoon No. 13 (Kalmaegi) struck Gia Lai province, causing serious damage. Hundreds of houses collapsed or had their roofs blown off; thousands of hectares of crops and livestock were swept away; and many power and transportation infrastructure facilities were severely damaged. People's lives were disrupted, and many households faced hardship.

In order to share the difficulties with people affected by typhoon No. 13, a delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Minh Khu, Director of An Khe-Ka Nak Hydropower Company, recently visited, encouraged, and provided gifts and over 500 million VND in cash support to the communes of Cuu An, Kbang, Kong Chro, Ia Pa and An Khe ward (over 100 million VND per commune/ward).

In addition, the EVNGENCO2/An Khe-Ka Nak Youth Union supported two families in particularly difficult circumstances in Cuu An and Ia Pa communes, each with VND 15 million in cash and some necessities.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Khu expressed: “We hope to join hands with the local government and people to overcome this difficult period. The gift is not large, but it is the heart of the Company's staff and workers. We wish people to soon stabilize their lives and restore production after the storm.”
