From the 27th and 28th of the twelfth lunar month, as streams of people from the southern provinces lined up along National Highway 1A, many passenger buses and motorbikes carrying luggage stopped at rest points in the southern part of Quang Ngai province.
During the peak days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), the traffic police force of Quang Ngai province intensified patrols, inspections, and traffic control to the maximum extent. They proactively deployed personnel and vehicles to closely monitor the area, promptly diverting traffic, handling emerging situations, and ensuring smooth traffic flow and safety, preventing prolonged traffic congestion.

Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Tien Vien, Head of the Duc Pho Traffic Police Station, said that the volume of vehicles coming from the South has increased dramatically at times. The unit has proactively adjusted its traffic control plan.
Besides their professional duties, traffic police officers also thoughtfully provided water, milk, and pastries to support people on their journey home for Tet (Lunar New Year).

These gifts, though small, contain a spirit of sharing and encouragement for migrant workers far from home. After a year of hard work in a foreign land, receiving a bottle of cool water, a carton of milk, or a sweet pastry from the officers on duty along the road moved many people deeply.

Mr. Pham Cam (Dong Son commune, Quang Ngai province) shared that after a year of hard work in the industrial zone, his return home was even more meaningful thanks to the care and support of drinking water provided by the traffic police. "That care warmed my heart and made me feel the human connection more clearly on my journey home for Tet," Mr. Cam expressed.
