HNP - On the afternoon of December 2, delegates of Ba Dinh Ward People's Council organized a meeting with voters before the third session of the first Ward People's Council, term 2021-2026.

At the Conference, voters of Ba Dinh Ward expressed their recognition and appreciation for the effectiveness of the pilot model ward in urban order and civilization in the area. In addition, voters also suggested that on some streets in the evening, there is still a situation of business households encroaching on the sidewalks, causing difficulties for people to travel. From there, voters requested the People's Committee and the Steering Committee of 197 wards to have more drastic measures to direct the urban appearance of the ward to become more spacious and clean.

Voters of Ba Dinh ward also pointed out the fact that the power lines and telecommunication lines in some alleys and lanes in the ward are sagging, causing loss of urban beauty and potential risk of fire. Voters suggested to bundle the power lines to make the alleys and lanes clear. In addition, voters also made recommendations on a number of issues related to fire prevention and fighting; arrangement of community activity houses, etc.

Clarifying the opinions of voters, Chairman of Ba Dinh Ward People's Committee Pham Thi Diem said that, in order to build a model Ba Dinh ward in terms of urban order and civilization, the Department of Economics , Infrastructure and Urban Areas has painted lines on the sidewalks for people to arrange their motorbikes neatly in rows, ensuring pedestrian crossings. To maintain effective implementation, the Ward People's Committee has established daily inspection teams on the streets to remind people to comply with regulations and handle violations according to their authority.

On behalf of the Ba Dinh Ward People's Council delegates, receiving all opinions and recommendations from voters, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ba Dinh Ward People's Council Pham Quang Thanh requested that for opinions and recommendations from voters under the authority of the ward People's Committee, the Ward People's Committee should promptly resolve and handle them thoroughly. For recommendations under the authority of the city's departments and branches, the Chairman of the Ba Dinh Ward People's Council said that he would forward them to the relevant agencies for resolution and respond to voters as soon as possible.

* On the same day, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Dinh Ward held the first consultation conference to agree on the structure, composition and number of candidates to be nominated as candidates for the Ba Dinh Ward People's Council for the 2026-2031 term. Accordingly, the conference agreed to nominate 50 candidates to be elected as candidates for the Ba Dinh Ward People's Council for the 2026-2031 term.
