Voters propose to support agricultural production, increase the value of Binh Thuan dragon fruit

BTO-According to the program, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong - Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation (NAD) of Binh Thuan province has just met with voters in Thuan Nam town and Tan Thuan commune, Ham Thuan Nam district.

At the meetings, National Assembly deputies reported on the expected content and program of the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly, which is about to take place in Hanoi, as well as information on some contents that competent authorities have responded to voters' opinions and recommendations in previous meetings.

In the 5th session, in addition to legislative work (considering and passing 8 laws and 2 resolutions, giving opinions on 8 draft laws), the National Assembly also considered many contents related to socio -economics, state budget, supervision and other important issues. Such as: Considering and deciding on adjusting the investment policy of the Ka Pet Reservoir project, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province; Considering and approving the Resolution of the 5th session - 15th National Assembly (including the content on adjusting the investment policy of the Ka Pet Reservoir project, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province)...

On this occasion, voters of Thuan Nam town proposed facilitating the circulation of goods, having support policies on taxes, capital, production linkages... and orienting businesses to participate in exporting dragon fruit through official channels to increase the value of Ham Thuan Nam's advantageous fruit.
In addition, voters also recommended investing in rural transport, paying more attention to the cultural and spiritual life of the people, supporting land compensation and recovery, having a reasonable plan for collecting highway tolls, and providing clearer information about the research and production of Covid-19 vaccines in Vietnam in recent times.

In Tan Thuan, voters of the commune said that the consumption of agricultural products is facing many difficulties while production costs are increasing, so they requested that the competent authorities pay attention to supporting agricultural production, especially for dragon fruit growers.
In addition, voters also expressed their frustration about the current situation of bad and toxic information, fraud on social networks and the problems of corruption and school violence.

Regarding the grassroots area, voters of Tan Thuan commune proposed to continue constructing sea dykes to help stabilize people's lives, invest in bridges and roads to facilitate travel, overcome the shortage of medical supplies at medical examination and treatment facilities, and increase the level of support for non-professional cadres at commune and village levels...

Receiving the voters' recommendations, representatives of leaders of a number of relevant departments, agencies and local authorities discussed and explained at the meetings with National Assembly deputies about the contents under their authority and responsibility. Regarding issues under the authority of the province and the Central Government, National Assembly Deputy Nguyen Huu Thong also shared information that voters were interested in, and at the same time noted the opinions to synthesize and continue to make recommendations to the National Assembly in the next session.
