Voters have expressed confidence in General Phan Văn Giang as a candidate for the 16th National Assembly.

In Linh Son ward (Thai Nguyen province), 100% of voters unanimously expressed their confidence in General Phan Van Giang's candidacy for the 16th National Assembly.

This morning, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Linh Son ward ( Thai Nguyen province) held a conference to gather opinions and assess the trustworthiness of voters residing in the ward regarding General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense - a candidate for the 16th National Assembly, term 2026-2031, currently residing in the ward.

The generals assessed General Phan Văn Giang as a person with a clean and clear background, a firm and unwavering political and ideological stance, absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people, impeccable moral character, an honest, humble, and simple lifestyle, a democratic, fair, straightforward, upright, and honest working style, and a commitment to matching words with actions, without opportunism or self-interest.

He always respected and listened to collective opinions, was close to and cared for the material and spiritual well-being of officers, soldiers, and the military's support system, and consistently built and strengthened internal unity, enjoying high prestige.

Voters also affirmed that General Phan Van Giang possessed good health, a sharp mind, strategic vision, and comprehensive knowledge of military affairs, national defense, culture, and society. He had rich theoretical knowledge and practical experience in managing, commanding, and operating the Army.

As a well-trained officer who matured through combat, study, and work experience, he was entrusted by the Party, State, and Army with many important positions. In all his roles, he consistently excelled in his assigned tasks, making significant contributions to the building of the Army, strengthening national defense and security, and protecting the Fatherland.

At the conference, 100% of the attending voters unanimously expressed their confidence in General Phan Văn Giang's candidacy for the 16th National Assembly.

Speaking at the conference, General Phan Van Giang expressed his gratitude for the trust and confidence of the voters, and acknowledged their comments and contributions. He emphasized that if elected as a representative to the 16th National Assembly, in his capacity as a member of the Politburo, Minister of National Defense, and participant in numerous steering committees and councils, he would have favorable conditions to successfully fulfill his duties as a representative of the voters and the people of the whole country.

General Phan Van Giang pledged to remain absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people, to respect the Constitution, to uphold the spirit of "the rule of law," and to resolutely fulfill his duties as a National Assembly representative.

He also affirmed that he would utilize all his abilities and experience to effectively fulfill his role as a National Assembly representative in participating in the drafting of legal documents that are appropriate, practical, highly effective, and contribute to resolving the legitimate aspirations of voters.

At the same time, he stated that he would continue to conduct research, contribute many high-quality opinions, and work with the National Assembly to make wise and correct decisions on important national issues; participate effectively in oversight activities to ensure the effective implementation of the Party and State's policies and guidelines; and improve and enhance the effectiveness of the State apparatus.

General Phan Van Giang also affirmed that, in his assigned position, he always thoroughly understands the Party's viewpoint on military and national defense policies and focuses on effectively fulfilling his assigned responsibilities and duties...

Previously, on February 6th, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Son ward (Ninh Binh province) organized a survey to gather opinions and assess the trustworthiness of voters residing in the ward regarding General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and Deputy Minister of National Defense - a candidate for the 16th National Assembly, currently residing in the ward.

100% of the attending voters cast their ballots, demonstrating their absolute confidence in General Nguyen Tan Cuong. The voters unanimously assessed General Nguyen Tan Cuong as exemplary in political qualities, ethics, competence, and prestige, fully meeting the standards and conditions for candidacy as a representative to the 16th National Assembly.
