According to Trinh Ngoc Tram, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Nam Ward, in accordance with the directive of the Hanoi City People's Committee, the People's Committee of Cua Nam Ward has issued a notice on organizing the display of the national flag throughout the ward.
Decoration and propaganda work was implemented synchronously and uniformly at the ward People's Committee headquarters, agencies, units, schools, health stations, and residential areas. Along with that, the ward intensified urban beautification efforts, ensuring a bright, green, clean, and beautiful landscape, creating a modern and civilized appearance for the central area of the capital city.
On streets like Tran Hung Dao, Ba Trieu, Trang Tien, Hang Bai, Nguyen Che Nghia, and many residential areas in Cua Nam ward, the vibrant red of flags, banners, and slogans welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party created a striking highlight. From the headquarters of government agencies to individual neighborhoods, the atmosphere leading up to the Congress was clearly evident, spreading a spirit of excitement and confidence among the people.
Sharing her feelings, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, a resident of Tran Hung Dao Street, said: “These days, Hanoi’s streets are filled with red flags, welcoming the country’s momentous event. In our residential area, every house displays flags to welcome the Congress. This joyful atmosphere makes people even more proud and deeply confident in the Party’s leadership, hoping that the country will continue to develop strongly and that the people’s lives will become increasingly prosperous and happy.”
Sharing the same sentiment, Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, a resident of Ba Trieu Street, said: “From government offices to every residential area in Cua Nam Ward, these days everything is decorated with colorful and solemn flags and flowers. Everyone in the neighborhood is conscious of maintaining environmental hygiene and tidying up their homes to contribute to making the neighborhood look more beautiful and clean in preparation for this important political event of the country. We believe that, under the glorious banner of the Party, our country will develop even further, and the lives of the people will improve even more.”
