This is a particularly important political task, contributing to ensuring absolute safety and security for the country's major political event. Based on this, the Nuclear Security and Radiation Safety Department proactively coordinated closely with the Guard Command to develop a comprehensive plan, preparing sufficient personnel, vehicles, and modern technical equipment to implement nuclear security and incident response throughout the duration of the Congress.
According to the plan, the task will be carried out at the National Convention Center from January 19th to 25th, 2026. Participating forces will be deployed to key areas of the conference, installing radiation detection gates and radiation monitoring and measurement equipment to promptly detect and prevent radiation and nuclear safety risks, ensuring an absolutely safe environment for the Congress.
The delegation from the Department of Radiation and Nuclear Safety demonstrated its determination to fulfill its particularly important political task, ensuring absolute radiation and nuclear safety and security throughout the 14th National Congress of the Party.
Speaking at the mobilization ceremony, Mr. Tran Quang Tuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Nuclear Safety and Security, emphasized the special significance and importance of the assigned task; and at the same time requested all officers and technicians participating in the task to uphold a high sense of responsibility, work with caution and seriousness, strictly adhere to the approved plan and schedule, and coordinate synchronously with functional forces, especially the Guard Command, in order to successfully complete the task of ensuring absolute nuclear security for the Congress.
Radiation and nuclear safety and security measures were strictly and continuously implemented throughout the entire duration of the Congress, thereby contributing to maintaining stability and safety for this strategically important political event for the country's development in the new era.

In addition to deploying personnel and equipment, the Department of Radiation and Nuclear Safety also implements a 24/7 duty system, ensuring uninterrupted communication and readiness to promptly handle any situations arising related to radiation and nuclear safety and security. Incident response plans are thoroughly reviewed, and internal drills are conducted to ensure proactiveness and flexibility in carrying out tasks.
The synchronized implementation of technical and operational measures not only contributed to ensuring absolute nuclear security for the 14th National Congress of the Party, but also demonstrated the professional competence and high sense of responsibility of the radiation and nuclear safety forces in protecting important political events of the country.
Through this mission, the Department of Radiation and Nuclear Safety continues to affirm its role as a core agency in state management of radiation and nuclear safety and security, contributing to maintaining political stability, social order and safety, and creating a safe and reliable environment for the sustainable development of the country.
