The Department of Wages and Social Insurance works with Lam Dong enterprises on new policies.

Attending the Conference were Mr. Nguyen Duy Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Wages and Social Insurance; Mr. Duong Van Hao, Head of the Social Insurance Policy Implementation Department (Vietnam Social Insurance); Ms. Chau Thi Dao, Deputy Director of Lam Dong Department of Home Affairs; Mr. Tran Van Son, Deputy Director of Lam Dong Provincial Social Insurance and representatives of leaders and experts of departments under the Department of Home Affairs, grassroots Social Insurance, provincial agencies and nearly 200 enterprises and units in Lam Dong.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Duy Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Wages and Social Insurance, said: Lam Dong is one of the 7 provinces nationwide selected to organize a consultation and dialogue conference on social insurance policies. This activity is part of the Plan to implement the Comprehensive Innovation Project, content, form and method of social insurance propaganda. In order to promptly inform, disseminate and guide local agencies, organizations and enterprises on the new regulations and policies of the Social Insurance Law, which will take effect from July 1, 2025 and related guiding documents.

At the Conference, delegates were introduced to the key new points of the Social Insurance Law and detailed guidance documents, and noted some necessary contents in the process of implementing social insurance regimes and policies.

In addition, the Conference devoted time for delegates to ask questions and exchange directly with reporters and authorities in Lam Dong province about social insurance policies.

The conference is also an opportunity for units and enterprises to directly dialogue on social insurance and health insurance, unemployment insurance and occupational accident insurance policies with leading experts in the field of social insurance. Dozens of opinions from units and enterprises in Lam Dong were raised and answered, explained and guided directly at the dialogue, contributing to the correct implementation of social insurance policies, protecting the legitimate rights of enterprises and employees in Lam Dong.
