Emulation Cluster No. 5, Provincial Veterans Association summarizes the movement "Exemplary Veterans"

On the morning of November 14, at Hoa Lu ward, Emulation Cluster No. 5, the Provincial Veterans Association held a summary of the "Exemplary Veterans" movement in 2025, and deployed directions and tasks for 2026.

The "Exemplary War Veterans" movement in 2025 of the Emulation Cluster No. 5 of the Provincial War Veterans Association was deployed synchronously at 18 grassroots associations, stabilizing the organization, attracting the responsible participation of members in 747 branches. The spirit of solidarity and the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers continue to be the foundation in many activities, especially in participating in Party and Government building, maintaining security and order, and consolidating the political system at the grassroots level. Currently, there are 1,332 War Veterans Association members in the cluster trusted to participate in Party committees and socio-political organizations, 2,500 members participating in the mediation team. In addition, the grassroots associations proactively guide members to fight against wrong views, coordinate with functional forces to grasp the situation, contributing to maintaining stability right from the residential areas.

Political education and moral training are maintained regularly through specialized activities, studying the regulations and standards of the Association. The concretization of the criteria of "Exemplary war veterans" helps improve the quality of branch activities, linking training tasks with the exemplary responsibilities of cadres and members. Operational models are maintained and expanded such as "Safe school gate", "Self-managed war veterans' group for security and order", "Self-managed war veterans' street", creating clear effectiveness in localities.

The movement to help each other develop the economy was practically implemented, many members made efforts to rise up, build family economic models, and cooperate in production. Units in the cluster coordinated with the Social Policy Bank to maintain 154 loan groups with more than 5,000 members participating, with a total capital of nearly 284 billion VND for production. The movement to repay gratitude was given attention, during the year, 9 martyrs' remains were organized to return to their localities according to proper rituals. Activities to care for members' lives were actively implemented; the internal gratitude fund of members in the cluster alone contributed more than 1.3 billion VND.

In 2026, Emulation Cluster No. 5 continues to promote the patriotic emulation movement associated with moral training, implementing the standards of war veterans according to Regulation 144 and Decision 253. Grassroots associations focus on innovating the content and methods of organizing emulation movements; improving the quality of activities; promoting the core role in protecting the Party, the government and the people; proactively fighting against wrong views right from the grassroots. The cluster strives to be recognized by the Provincial War Veterans Association as an "Excellent All-round Emulation Cluster" in 2026.
