Emulation cluster No. III - Vietnam Association of the Elderly summarizes the emulation and reward movement in 2025

From July 1, Emulation Cluster No. VI, including 7 provinces from Da Nang City to Ninh Thuan Province (old), has changed to Emulation Cluster No. III - Vietnam Association of the Elderly, including 10 associations of the elderly, representative boards of associations of the elderly in the provinces and cities: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang , Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa. Currently, the grassroots association is being consolidated, in particular, the Association of the Elderly in Khanh Hoa province has agreed with the associations of the elderly in 64 communes and wards in the province on the merger of the associations of the elderly in communes and wards before the merger, striving to complete before November 30.

Currently, Emulation Cluster No. III has 1,175 grassroots associations, with more than 2.8 million members, accounting for 90.75% of the elderly. In 2025, the cluster will admit 66,302 new members; visit and give gifts to nearly 374,500 elderly people, including more than 13,700 elderly people aged 100 and over; coordinate to organize medical examinations for nearly 422,700 elderly people. Intergenerational self-help clubs coordinate to organize more than 1,000 periodic health examinations for nearly 571,000 elderly people. The entire cluster has 80% of commune-level units with a Fund for caring for and promoting the role of the elderly, with nearly 127 billion VND. The cluster has more than 169,000 elderly people participating in the political system at the grassroots level; More than 1.2 million elderly people participate in production labor, family economy, and business ownership; more than 24,600 art, physical education, sports, health care, dance, and folk dance clubs attract nearly 655,500 elderly people; 3,100 intergenerational self-help clubs attract nearly 164,200 members. The total fund of the clubs is currently more than 231 billion VND, thereby supporting more than 30,600 members to borrow capital, create jobs, increase income...

The conference reviewed and unanimously proposed that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Elderly Association award the leading emulation flag nationwide to the Elderly Association of Khanh Hoa province; the leading emulation flag of the emulation cluster to the Elderly Association of Dak Lak and Quang Tri provinces; and certificates of merit to the Elderly Association of 7 provinces and cities: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai and Hue.

The conference signed the emulation agreement for 2026, focusing on guiding the grassroots association of the elderly to plan the emulation movement of Seniors - Good examples for the period 2025 - 2030 and launch the movement of Seniors - Good examples in 2026 associated with the implementation of association work. The members unanimously elected the Nghe An Provincial Association of the Elderly as the Cluster Leader in 2026.
