A corner displaying works of art by famous artists of Hue

The exhibition with the theme "Art works - Collection of Hue Fine Arts Museum" organized by Hue Fine Arts Museum took place on the afternoon of November 12 at Le Ba Dang Art Space (15 Le Loi, Thuan Hoa ward).

The event aims to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2005 - November 23, 2025) and the 7th anniversary of the establishment of Hue Museum of Fine Arts (November 12, 2018 - November 12, 2025).

In the cool, clear weather, art lovers had an impressive “art party”. There, 75 works of art in the forms of painting, sculpture, graphics, video art, installation art… were displayed, captivating viewers.

In that space, one can encounter works of typical artistic value and distinctive creative styles of 45 Hue-born visual artists who live, study and work in Hue.

Some of the names that can be mentioned are Ton That Sa, Mai Trung Thu, Ton That Dao, Le Thanh Nhon, Phan Xuan Sanh, Do Ky Hoang, Vinh Phoi, Lam Triet, Ton That Van, Dinh Cuong, Truong Be, Hoang Dang Nhuan, Le Quy Long, Cong Huyen, Ton Nu Tuyet Mai, Buu Chi, Duong Dinh Sang... In addition, there are also young artists with other new art forms such as video art and installation art.

These works were collected by the Hue Museum of Fine Arts during its formation and operation over the past 7 years.

In particular, on this occasion, the Hue Fine Arts Museum also received 3 works of art by authors Ton That Van, Pham Luc, To Bich Hai, donated by researcher Tran Viet Ngac, collector Nguyen Huu Hoang and Ms. Le Cam Te. These works were then also displayed to the public.

According to the representative of Hue Fine Arts Museum, the exhibition is a tribute to the great contributions of artists, organizations and individuals who have contributed to building and developing Hue fine arts in general and Hue Fine Arts Museum in particular.

The exhibition is open to the public until December 12.
