The English Olympic Competition for Young Officials has a completely new stage.

As an annual English playground since 2019 dedicated to Youth Union officials, young civil servants, public employees, businesses and armed forces aged 18-35, the Contest has been implemented 5 times, attracting a total of 300,000 contestants with more than 3 million competitions.

This year, the Contest has the theme "Master English - Courage to Integrate" as an activity to continue to concretize the Program "Supporting the improvement of foreign language proficiency and international integration for Vietnamese youth in the period 2022-2030".

Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam (standing 2nd from right) and representatives of relevant units visited the exam area to welcome the candidates.

The content of the Contest revolves around knowledge about Vietnamese youth organizations, the Year of Youth Volunteers, the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, the Youth Law, the Youth Development Strategy for the period 2021-2030, Documents of the 12th National Youth Union Congress, and the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Student Association.

In addition, candidates will be tested on their general knowledge of important historical events of the country, the economic- political , cultural, social and historical situation of Vietnam and the world; diplomatic relations between Vietnam and other countries in the world, and international organizations of which Vietnam is a member.

The competition has 3 rounds, taking place from now until September. Notably, the national final round of this year's competition has a completely new stage called "Become a global citizen".

The contest has many valuable prizes including cash, Certificates of Merit from the Central Youth Union, free online English courses, and opportunities to participate in international youth activities organized by the Central Youth Union and the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth in the period 2024-2025.

The organizers awarded prizes to the contestants with high results in the response contest.

At the ceremony, along with 60 young faces from 3 categories "Youth Union Officers", "Young Civil Servants, Public Employees, Enterprises" and "Young Armed Forces" participating in the direct response, candidates across the country participated in the competition on the 2 official platforms of the Contest, which are the Vietnam Youth application and at the address https://cbt.olympicenglish.vn.
