On November 12 in Hanoi, the Truth National Political Publishing House coordinated with the Cuban Embassy in Vietnam to organize the book launching ceremony "65 years of cultivating the loyal and exemplary friendship between Vietnam and Cuba". The publication richly and vividly reflects the important historical milestones that have fostered the special, exemplary, and rare solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba.

The book was compiled and published by the Truth National Political Publishing House in coordination with the Cuban Embassy in Vietnam on the occasion of the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Year.

With more than 200 large-sized pages, the book gathers many valuable images and documents, divided into 3 parts: President Ho Chi Minh - President Fidel Castro: The person who laid the historical foundation for the Vietnam - Cuba relationship; 65 years of Vietnam - Cuba friendship, special and exemplary solidarity; Imprints of historic visits by Vietnam - Cuba leaders. The book is printed in Vietnamese - Spanish.

According to information from the Truth National Political Publishing House, speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the Publishing House, said that in the context of many changes in the world, the special and loyal friendship between the two countries is a solid foundation for Vietnam and Cuba to always stand side by side, continue to firmly build and protect socialism and the socio-economic development in each country, contributing to the common efforts for peace , stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world. The book "65 years of cultivating the loyal and exemplary friendship between Vietnam and Cuba" contributes to enhancing information and propaganda about the meaning and importance of the traditional solidarity, special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba; educating the young generation of the two countries to always cherish, preserve and further develop the special, exemplary and loyal relationship between the two peoples.

Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Rogelio Polanco Fuentes commented that the book is an outstanding contribution to preserving historical memories and the special solidarity and friendship between the two peoples, initiated by President Ho Chi Minh and Leader Fidel Castro, and is a very meaningful initiative on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba. The book has introduced many typical documents and images of historical visits as well as exchanges between the two countries' leaders.

Ambassador Rogelio Polanco Fuentes congratulated the Truth National Political Publishing House on launching the book on the occasion of the important anniversary; and thanked the Publishing House for its persistent contributions over the years through publishing publications on the history, country and people of Cuba and translating and publishing Vietnamese works into Spanish to introduce to Cuban readers.
