Enforced 15 cases to implement Vung Tau main road project

On November 12, the People's Committee of Phuoc Thang Ward (HCMC) organized enforcement and land recovery for 15 cases using land in Phuoc Thang Ward to implement the Vung Tau main road project.

According to the People's Committee of Phuoc Thang Ward, these are 15 cases located in the area of ​​the main road project of Vung Tau with land being recovered. However, after many attempts to persuade, the homeowners still did not agree to hand over the land. Therefore, the authorities were forced to issue a decision and enforce the land acquisition when the project was being implemented right next to the land of the 15 cases mentioned above.

Through the reporter's observations at the scene, because most households had built brick houses, prefabricated houses for residence, business, etc., the enforcement organization had to mobilize many workers, vehicles, and machines to demolish them.

The enforcement process is carried out under the direction of competent authorities with a quick enforcement process, moving residents' property, absolute safety, security and order, in accordance with the law; not allowing complicated situations to occur, ensuring traffic safety in the enforcement area, safety of people and vehicles participating in the enforcement.

Mr. Ngoc Thanh Dung, Vice Chairman of Phuoc Thang Ward People's Committee, head of the enforcement organizing committee, said that the enforcement of these 15 cases is aimed at reclaiming land and completing site clearance to implement the main road project of Vung Tau (section from coastal road DT 994 to the roundabout intersection of road 51B - 51C.

The Vung Tau main road project is a key investment project with a total length of about 2.87km. The starting point of the Vung Tau main road coincides with the end point of the connecting road project to Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway (from Vung Van intersection to DT 994 coastal road), about 0.35km from Cua Lap intersection. The end point is on Road 2-9, about 0.57km from the intersection of Road 51B-51C.

When completed, the project, combined with expressway connections, will create a seamless traffic route from Bien Hoa to Vung Tau, while also linking with the DT 994 coastal route and the main urban routes that are being invested in, to form a complete traffic network.
