| First aid was given to the Russian tourist. |
Upon discovering the incident, the rescue team from the Nha Trang Bay Management Board quickly coordinated with local residents and tourists to bring the victim safely ashore. At the time of being brought to the beach, Mr. IA had stopped breathing and his heart had stopped beating. Beach rescue personnel immediately administered initial first aid according to protocol. After a few minutes of emergency first aid, the victim gradually regained consciousness, his heartbeat returned, and he began breathing on his own. He was then urgently transferred to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for further treatment. By the afternoon of the same day, the Russian tourist's health had stabilized, and he was out of critical condition.
According to rescue forces, in the current conditions of strong winds and waves over 2 meters high in Nha Trang, swimming is extremely dangerous and can easily lead to drowning, exhaustion, or stroke. The Nha Trang Bay Management Board continues to issue urgent warnings to tourists and residents: Absolutely do not swim in the sea when the weather is bad, there are large waves, or when warning flags or loudspeakers have warned of danger.
