Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on December 9, the City Police Command Information Center received a report from residents at Lane 102, Tran Phu, Ha Dong Ward about a child falling from a high floor of an apartment building onto the roof of a supermarket below.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Center urgently mobilized 1 rescue vehicle, 1 ladder truck, 2 fire trucks and officers from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team of Areas 2 and 4, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Hanoi City Police to the scene to organize rescue.


At the scene, through initial information, it was determined that the victim was a child of about 15 years old, who fell from a high floor onto the supermarket roof, with a broken arm and leg. Although still conscious, he could not move on his own. The fire commander urgently directed the officers to quickly approach; coordinate with the medical team to put the victim on a stretcher, perform first aid, and immobilize the injured areas; at the same time, deploy a team to bring the victim from the metal roof to a safe location by ladder truck, handing him over to the medical team for further treatment.
Currently, the child’s health has basically stabilized, with no life-threatening consequences. The victim is being monitored and treated by doctors at the medical facility. The cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
