QTO - On May 10th, Mr. Dang Ngoc Hung, Director of the General Services Center of Dong Hoi Ward, stated that since the beginning of the tourist season, the beaches in Dong Hoi Ward have welcomed many locals and tourists who come to swim and use the services available at the beaches. Therefore, the General Services Center has urged and directed the Sea Rescue Team to mobilize resources and deploy personnel to be on standby for rescue operations, successfully responding to numerous drowning incidents and ensuring the safety of locals and tourists.

Since the April 30th holiday alone, the forces have coordinated to find one missing child and successfully rescued three tourists from drowning.

Specifically, on the afternoon of April 30th, the Search and Rescue Team deployed personnel and equipment in coordination with other forces and found Nguyen Trung Kien (5 years old, residing in Hanoi ), who had gone missing in the area of ​​the Muong Thanh Hotel. He was found at Phuong Man restaurant (Nhat Le 2 beach).

Furthermore, from the afternoon of May 2nd until now, the Search and Rescue Team has rescued one male tourist (35 years old, residing in Hanoi) who was swept away from the shore by the waves; one male tourist (Dang Van D., 50 years old, residing in Hanoi) and one young man (20 years old, residing in Dong Son ward) who drowned while swimming in the sea.
