Rescued 7 fishermen stranded at sea after their ship sank

Fishing boat TH 90073TS with 7 crew members sank at coordinates 170 54'N - 1060 34'E (about 3 nautical miles from Hon La Port). Fortunately, the fishermen on the fishing boat were discovered and rescued safely to shore.

On November 11, Roon Border Guard Station, Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard Command organized to receive 7 fishermen of fishing boat TH 90073TS, and at the same time sent military doctors to directly support and examine their health. Currently, all 7 fishermen are healthy and safe.

The fishermen were lucky to be rescued and brought safely to shore.

It is known that at 11:30 on November 10, fishing boat TH 90073TS with 7 fishermen, captained by Mr. Le Cong Dung (born 1980), in Ngoc Son ward, Thanh Hoa province, sank at coordinates 170 54'N - 1060 34'E (about 3 nautical miles from Hon La port, Quang Tri province). Boat TH 91812TS of Mr. Le Cong Hau, operating nearby, discovered it, promptly responded and reported to the Hon La port border station. Upon receiving the report, Roon Border Station directed the station's forces to maintain communication with the boat and organize support for the fishermen.

Fishermen are cared for and given medical check-ups by military medics when they reach the mainland.

Captain Le Cong Dung said: fishing boat TH 90073TS has a capacity of 294.4 CV, 17m long, exported fish to Mui Ong port, Phu Trach commune, Quang Tri province on November 10, after working hours, the fishermen anchored the boat to sleep when they discovered that water had entered more than half of the boat, they were unable to handle it so they called each other to bring life jackets and leave the boat before the boat sank completely. While struggling in the middle of the ocean, the fishermen were fortunately discovered and rescued.
