(LĐ online) - On the morning of December 12, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Huoai district announced the Decision to establish the communes of Ha Lam, Da Oai, and Ba Gia, Quang Tri .
Previously, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province held a ceremony to announce the establishment of Da Huoai district (new) according to Resolution No. 1245/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels in the period 2023 - 2025. Da Huoai district was established on the basis of merging 3 southern districts, including: Da Huoai, Da Teh and Cat Tien. After the merger, the new district named Da Huoai has a natural area of 1,448.48 km 2 and a population of more than 146,000 people. At the same time, 4 new communes were established, including: Ha Lam, Da Oai, Ba Gia and Quang Tri in Da Huoai district.

Accordingly, Ha Lam commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area of 80.83 km2 and the population of 3,540 people of Phuoc Loc commune into Ha Lam commune. After merging, Ha Lam commune has a natural area of 124.21 km2 and a population of 7,743 people.

The term of the Party Committee of Ha Lam commune is the 8th term, 2020 - 2025. The Party Committee of Ha Lam commune is a grassroots party organization under the Party Committee of Da Huoai district. The Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Ha Lam commune has 20 comrades, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee has 6 comrades. Appointing comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi to hold the position - Secretary of the Party Committee of Ha Lam commune for the term 2020 - 2025.
The People's Council of Ha Lam commune also held a meeting to approve and issue a Resolution confirming that comrade Phan Quang Thuc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ha Lam commune for the 2020-2025 term was elected Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Lam commune for the 8th term, 2021-2026 term. Comrade Tran Dinh Phong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ha Lam commune for the 2020-2025 term, delegate of the 8th term People's Council of Ha Lam commune was elected Chairman of the People's Council of Ha Lam commune for the 8th term, 2021-2026 term.

Da Oai commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area of 45.12 km2 and the population of 1,660 people of Da Ton commune into Da Oai commune. After merging, Da Oai commune has a natural area of 68.39 km2 and a population of 5,908 people.

Ba Gia commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area of 38.53 km2 , population of 2,156 people of Doan Ket commune and the entire natural area of 92.98 km2 , population of 4,344 people of Da P'loa commune. After establishment, Ba Gia commune has a natural area of 131.51 km2 and a population of 6,500 people.

Comrade K' Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ba Gia commune for the 2020 - 2025 term, delegate of the People's Council of Ba Gia commune for the 2021 - 2026 term was elected Chairman of the People's Council of Ba Gia commune for the 2021 - 2026 term.

Quang Tri commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area of 32.15 km2 and the population of 3,106 people of Trieu Hai commune into Quang Tri commune. After merging, Quang Tri commune has a natural area of 86.51 km2 and a population of 6,380 people.

The People's Council of Quang Tri commune also held a meeting to approve and issue a Resolution confirming that comrade Truong Thai Trieu Vuong - Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Commune Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term was elected Chairman of the Quang Tri Commune People's Committee for the 5th term, 2021-2026 term. Comrade Dang Sy Tin - Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Commune Party Committee, delegate of the Quang Tri Commune People's Council for the 5th term, was elected Chairman of the Quang Tri Commune People's Council for the 5th term, 2021-2026 term.
After the arrangement, Da Huoai district has 23 commune-level administrative units, including 18 communes and 5 towns.
