From mid-January to mid-February this year, locals and tourists in Da Lat admired the most beautiful cherry blossom season in many years. The pink blossoms were not only seen in the city center but also spread to suburban areas such as Cau Dat tea hills, K'Ho village in Klong Klanh, Mong Dao Nguyen...

This year, Da Lat is launching a digital map showcasing cherry blossom viewing spots, allowing visitors to stay updated on the flower blooming status in each area.

For many years now, the cherry blossoms blooming in early spring have been a joyful sign of the new year for the people of Da Lat.

Thousands of cherry blossom trees have been planted to beautify the mountain town, starting from the Xuan Huong Lake area and spreading along the roads to Truc Lam Zen Monastery, Tuyen Lam Lake, Trai Mat, Cau Dat, Xuan Tho, and other areas.

This year, popular routes and locations for cherry blossom photoshoots include Tran Hung Dao, Hung Vuong, Da Quy slope, Co Giang, along Xuan Huong lake, Yersin apartment complex, and Da Lat University...

According to locals and tourists, spring 2026 will be the season with the most abundant cherry blossom bloom in the past few years, even comparable to the last decade or so.

Local photographer Quang Da Lat shared: "It's been four years since I've seen cherry blossoms in the city center bloom so brilliantly. From the end of January until after the Lunar New Year, tourists can take photos of the flowers non-stop."

Cherry blossoms in bloom have become an indispensable part of every spring in Da Lat. Whether locals or tourists, everyone can find their own romantic spot surrounded by these flowers.

The early morning sun shines down on the delicate, romantic cherry blossom trees, making everyone want to stop and "slow down" to enjoy this pristine beauty.

Normally, the cherry blossoms in Da Lat bloom from the end of December to mid-January and then gradually fade. However, this year, the vibrant blossoms leading up to the Lunar New Year have attracted a huge influx of tourists to Da Lat for the past month, and photographers like Quang have had their schedules fully booked for photo shoots.

The cherry blossom season has passed its peak; in many places, the flowers have faded and leaves are emerging. However, scattered areas still have blossoms to welcome visitors during the Lunar New Year. This year's staggered blooming season, as seen in different areas, makes it easier for tourists to visit. Instead of focusing on main roads, visitors can stroll through villages, small alleys, cafes, and resorts to enjoy the flowers.
