This activity is part of a series of more than 120 training courses to be implemented in 2025, attracting over 6,000 participants, aiming to unify awareness and ensure effective implementation of new regulations right from the grassroots level.
Decree No. 07/2025/UBTVQH15 dated June 3, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee amends and supplements Article 10 of the 2003 Population Ordinance, affirming that the right to have children belongs to couples and individuals. This is an important adjustment step, consistent with the spirit of the Constitution on human rights, and at the same time opens up the requirement for strong innovation in population work in the new period.
According to the City Population Office, the contents of the Ordinance are being concretized through pre-marital health consultation and examination, providing scientific knowledge on reproductive health, implementing prenatal and newborn screening, and safe maternity care services. These activities help people make the right decisions, suitable to the socio- economic conditions of their families.
The synchronous implementation of Decree No. 07/2025/UBTVQH15 and the initiative of all levels and sectors are expected to help Da Nang build a reasonable population structure, improve population quality and meet the requirements of sustainable development in the coming time.
