Da Nang announces series of events in the 2026 New Year Festival

Danang New Year Festival 2026 promises to bring a jubilant, colorful, multi-experience festival season, with many attractive cultural, artistic and entertainment activities, taking place for 5 days, from December 30, 2025 to January 3, 2026 at the east bank park of Dragon Bridge, Bach Dang walking street, Hoi An, Tam Thanh sea park...

The festival not only brings a vibrant and bustling atmosphere at the moment of transition from the old year to the new year, but also contributes to enhancing the experience of tourists, diversifying tourism products, stimulating demand and attracting tourists to Da Nang, thereby creating momentum for the city's tourism industry to continue to make a strong breakthrough in 2026.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, pledged that the city government will support and create all conditions for the Festival to take place safely, thoughtfully and completely, ensuring that people and tourists can enjoy the activities and services in the best way.

The race “Light up the Han River - Run to the future”; the opening program and art performance; the culinary space Cheer Fest - Connecting joy; the countdown art program “Shining harmony”; the art program Da Nang Concert 2026 “Endless flow”….

In 2025, tourism will make an important contribution to Da Nang's economic development. In the first 11 months of 2025, the number of guests served by accommodation establishments is estimated at 16.5 million, an increase of 19% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors are estimated at nearly 7 million, an increase of more than 26%; domestic visitors are estimated at more than 9.5 million, an increase of 14%. Revenue from accommodation, food and beverage, and travel is estimated at more than 52 trillion VND, an increase of more than 23% over the same period in 2024.
