Da Nang brings the world documentary heritage of 'ghost' Ngu Hanh Son into schools

Da Nang will include content and knowledge about ma nhai (stone carvings) at Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot into local education subjects.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a decision approving the project to promote and develop the value of the Ma Nhai documentary heritage at the special national relic - Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot.

According to the decision, the City People's Committee assigned Ngu Hanh Son ward to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to organize the implementation of tasks and solutions of the project in 2 phases from now until 2030 and orientation to 2045.

In which, phase 1 (until 2030) focuses on building promotional products and developing the value of Ma Nhai heritage. Determining the focus on preserving intact, restoring Ma Nhai documents, limiting natural and human encroachment is an urgent and long-term task; researching, interpreting and finding preservation solutions to prolong the life of documents.

In addition, the content and knowledge about ghosts at Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot will be included in the Local Education subject - a compulsory subject (35 periods/class/school year, junior high and high school levels). Priority will be given to students for field trips and experiences with technology products such as VR360 and virtual museums.

Organize an international conference to summarize and evaluate the ma nhay as a world heritage and find solutions to preserve and promote the significance of the heritage.....

In phase 2 (oriented to 2045), focus on exploiting promotional products implemented in phase 1 and linking the promotion of the value of the Ma Nhai heritage with tourism exploitation activities in the special national relic complex of Ngu Hanh Son Scenic Area.

New investment in artistic lighting system to honor the value of the temple.

Building a multilingual virtual museum integrating big data. Producing 3D films recreating scenes, people, and events to serve as a basis for integrating virtual reality systems and presenting them on mass media.

Along with that, continue to inspect, monitor, and strictly protect relics; inventory, number, and classify the stone carvings. Create tourism products from the stone carvings, focusing on the role of the community. Publish research publications on Buddhism in Dang Trong. Develop a project to preserve and promote the value of the Non Nuoc stone carving craft village.

The Marble Mountains Ma Nhai is a system of 78 texts in Chinese and Nom characters carved on the cliffs and caves of the Marble Mountains, with diverse content, unique forms, and many literary genres of kings, mandarins of the Nguyen Dynasty, eminent monks, and intellectuals, dating from the first half of the 17th century to the 20th century.
