At the seminar, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh introduced an overview of the city's development orientation to become an International Financial Center of Vietnam; in which he especially emphasized two strategic pillars: financial technology (Fintech) and Green Finance; introduced investment opportunities, incentives and available infrastructure to serve Fintech development, such as Da Nang High-Tech Park, Software Park No. 2 and the International Financial Center project being implemented.

City leaders and delegates had in-depth discussions on mechanisms, policies, legal frameworks, implementation progress as well as cooperation potential between Da Nang and international partners in building a modern, transparent and environmentally friendly financial ecosystem, thereby clarifying many important issues that delegates were interested in.
On behalf of the leaders of Da Nang city, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Ngo Xuan Thang affirmed that the sharing of experts and scientists at the seminar "Da Nang - New destination for Fintech and Green Finance in Vietnam" demonstrated the trust, companionship and aspiration for mutual development between Da Nang and domestic and international partners, especially in the fields of finance, technology and sustainable development.
At the same time, it emphasized that in the context of Vietnam's strong transformation to deeply integrate into the global economy , Da Nang city is focusing on building the Vietnam International Financial Center in Da Nang with strategic pillars. City leaders hope that Da Nang will become a “laboratory” for new financial ideas and models, where corporations, startups and financial institutions will work together to create a modern, safe and environmentally friendly digital financial ecosystem.

At the same time, the city focuses on developing high-quality human resources, coordinating with intellectual associations and Vietnamese businesses in Europe, the UK and Ireland to attract international talents to work in Da Nang.
The city is also creating favorable conditions for global financial and technology experts to participate in operating and developing the Center.
The aspiration to build an international financial center in Da Nang is not only an economic goal, but also a symbol of Vietnam's spirit of innovation, integration and international aspirations in the digital age.
