Da Nang signs start-up cooperation agreement with AxeVentures Company

DNO - On the afternoon of December 1, the Danang Center for Supporting Innovative Startups (Department of Science and Technology) and AxeVentures Company (Japan) signed a cooperation agreement on attracting high-quality investment resources and supporting startup businesses.

According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides agreed to implement the following contents: strengthening connections between startups, investors and support organizations in Da Nang, and expanding links with the startup ecosystem in Japan.

The two sides support startups in accessing capital, developing markets and promoting products and services in Da Nang and internationally; coordinate in organizing startup events, sponsoring and accompanying media to attract investors, promoting the innovative startup ecosystem in Da Nang.

A representative of AxeVentures Company expressed the desire to expand professional activities and startup network to the international market, taking Da Nang as a strategic connection point, aiming at opportunities from events scheduled to be held in 2026.

AxeVentures, headquartered in Japan, operates in the following areas: organizing and managing investment introduction events, venture capital, fundraising support (especially equity), business development consulting. The company is currently operating an online fundraising event, attracting more than 300 startups and more than 4,000 investors globally.

AxeVentures’ operating model is funded by investors. To effectively deploy in Vietnam, strengthening the network of Japanese startups and investors in Da Nang is considered a key factor.
