At the meeting, the reporter raised questions to the Department of Construction of Da Nang City about the situation of many apartment buildings and high-rise buildings springing up along the river and the sea in recent times. The concern is whether the technical and social infrastructure can handle it when these projects are put into use, especially in the context of a serious lack of static traffic, the number of cars pouring into the center has increased sharply after the merger, causing great pressure on the core urban roads.
Answering the question, Mr. Nguyen Ha Nam , Director of the Department of Construction of Da Nang City, said that the increase in high-rise buildings is a signal of urban development, but at the same time creates no small amount of pressure on technical and social infrastructure.

According to Mr. Nguyen Ha Nam, Da Nang is implementing urban development according to the Master Plan approved by the Prime Minister in Decision 359 in 2022 with 9 subdivisions. The city has approved all of these subdivisions, in which all calculations and full assessments of the traffic system, electricity supply, water supply, drainage, wastewater treatment as well as the needs for education , health, culture, and parks. The population of each planning block is clearly controlled to ensure infrastructure capacity, regardless of low-rise or high-rise housing development.

Mr. Nguyen Ha Nam said that the Department of Construction clearly recognized this situation and is coordinating research on comprehensive solutions from technical to spatial organization, including adjusting population distribution and urban functions, rearranging production and service areas, changing traffic organization methods and perfecting management mechanisms.
